Our half day trips are the perfect option for guests with time constraints, families or someone just looking to spend a few hours on the river. We have several locations close to Denver making this a popular option.

Full-Day Guided Fly Fishing Trips
Our full day trips are the perfect option for guests looking to take advantage of an entire day. They allow enough time to learn/work on skills or experience the sport of fly fishing. We have locations close to Denver or further up in the mountains.

We hesitate to discuss gratuities but because we get so many questions about them, here are some general guidelines. Gratuities are discretionary and should be based on how hard you feel the guide worked for the day. If you feel the guide(s) did a good job and worked hard and was knowledgeable, $150-$200 per guide/day is customary. Again, gratuities are discretionary.

Winter Discounted Trips
Our discounted winter fly fishing trips are designed to fit the season. They are a shorter version of our full-day trips with just the right amount of time allowed for fishing.

Reservation Policy
A credit card is required to book a fly fishing trip.
Cancellation Policy
Mile High Angler alone reserves the right to cancel a day of fishing. We will only cancel if our guides feel the weather is too severe. The safety of our customers is our top priority. Our trips go out regardless of weather, as long as it is safe. If Mile High Angler cancels because of weather, we will gladly forward the deposit to a future date or give a refund. If a customer cancels, refunds will be given only if we can fill the spot with another angler. All corporate trips are to be paid in full at time of booking and are non refundable.
Trip Insurance
Fly Fishing Trips are a considerable financial investment. To protect your investment we have partnered with the best travel insurance program in the world, Global Rescue. They offer the best insurance at VERY affordable rates and allow cancellation for ANY reason with a 75% refund to you. It is our recommendation that you protect your investment and feel assured that you can book a vacation with no to little financial worry. While purchasing this insurance is not mandatory for our trips, we want to inform you that if you decline the insurance you will be responsible for payment in full.
